The inner-city suburb of Cooks Hill is home to the famous Darby Street as well as pubs and galleries hidden among its leafy streets.
With a lively bohemian vibe, Darby Street is renown for its trendy restaurants, cafes, quirky homeware stores, second-hand bookshop and boutique clothing stores. It is a hugely popular place for a slow breakfast or nice long lunch.
Originally home to the city's first settlers, its leafy streets are lined with terrace houses and winding back alleys. It is now the city's artistic centre with many local photography and art galleries.
